I'm excited as well, but I also understand why it is delayed so often. I can imagine how hard it must be to build this from scratch. I'm happy to see more activity on the forums now...keep it going : )

I just tried to recreate this error, but I had no "luck": I could alt-tab and start programs, surf the web etc. during world generation without a crash. Does this always occur or just this one time? Have you already tried the "--video-quality" command line option? From the readme.txt: You can add the --video-quality option in nowhere.bat with a text editor to experiment with the setting.

Well at least I'm not the only one ;-). But as the previous alpha was working for me, I have high hopes that this is a resolvable issue.
