a91 Crash on first run. Win7 64bit.

Is this the place where I report bugs?

I started up a91 from the nowhere.bat. It said initial generation would take 5 minutes so I alt-tabbed out of it to let it execute in the background while I did other things.

After a while it crashed. The last thing that was printed on the console window was this:

  • I just tried to recreate this error, but I had no "luck": I could alt-tab and start programs, surf the web etc. during world generation without a crash. Does this always occur or just this one time?

    If you haven't tried yet, you could force a world regeneration by deleting the old world files. From the readme.txt:

    When you launch the game for the first time, the seed for the world will be
    rolled, and some procedural data will be precalculated, which can take about
    five to ten minutes. You can't reinitialize the world from within the game yet.
    If you wish to do so, you must delete seed.dat in the savegame folder, which is
    in C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\duangle\nowhere on Windows, and
    ~/.config/duangle/nowhere on OS X and Linux.

    You could backup the "duangle" folder before doing so, as the "broken" file might be of use to analyze the crash later on.

  • Second time I started it it kind of just froze when the screen got beige and a single black character was in the center of the screen. I tried to alt+tab out of it but after a while Windows said that python.exe has stopped working and it crashed.

    Third start I got ingame and was able to control... something... I'll have to read up on what you actually can do. Looks and sounds cool. :)

    Same problem and system. OP screenshot of the console is the same. Third time trying, deleted seed.dat each time. Here's the debug log:

    I already have Python 2.7 x64 (I think it's 64-bit) installed, with some libs (numpy, cairo, pyglet).

    edit: Never mind, it's 2.7.3 x32.
